Each ml contains Timolol Maleate equivalent to Timolol 0.5% w/v Ophthalmic Solution.

Lopres Eye Drops contain Timolol Maleate 0.5%, a non-selective beta-adrenergic receptor blocker indicated for the reduction of elevated intraocular pressure (IOP) in patients with open-angle glaucoma and ocular hypertension. It effectively lowers intraocular pressure by reducing aqueous humour production, thereby helping preserve optic nerve function and reduce the risk of glaucoma progression.

Lopres Eye Drops are indicated for the treatment of elevated intraocular pressure in patients with ocular hypertension or open-angle glaucoma.

Timolol Maleate is a non-selective beta-1 and beta-2 adrenergic receptor blocker that does not possess significant intrinsic sympathomimetic activity, direct myocardial depressant activity, or local anaesthetic (membrane-stabilising) properties. It lowers intraocular pressure primarily by reducing the production of aqueous humour by the ciliary body, thereby decreasing elevated intraocular pressure in patients with glaucoma and ocular hypertension.

Instill one drop into the affected eye(s) twice daily, or as directed by the physician.

Lopres Eye Drops are contraindicated in patients with bronchial asthma, severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), sinus bradycardia, second- or third-degree atrioventricular block, overt cardiac failure, cardiogenic shock, or known hypersensitivity to Timolol Maleate or any component of the formulation.
