Lubrex DS Eye Drops contain Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose 1%, a high-viscosity lubricating tear substitute designed to provide prolonged hydration and protection of the ocular surface. The formulation offers immediate relief from burning, irritation, and discomfort caused by dry eyes, environmental exposure, and tear film instability while helping protect the eyes from further irritation.

Lubrex DS Eye Drops are indicated for the temporary relief of burning, irritation, and discomfort due to dryness of the eye or exposure to wind or sun. It may also be used as a protectant against further ocular irritation.

Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose (CMC) is an isotonic, lubricating polymer that closely mimics the properties of natural tears. It forms a protective, moisture-retaining film over the ocular surface, improving tear film stability and reducing friction during blinking. This provides immediate relief while offering long-lasting protection against dryness, irritation, and environmental stress associated with Dry Eye Disease.

Instill 1–2 drops into the affected eye(s) 2–4 times daily as needed, or as directed by the ophthalmologist. If used with other ophthalmic medications, maintain an interval of at least 15 minutes between applications.

Lubrex DS Eye Drops are contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose or any component of the formulation.
