Lubrex Eye Drops contain Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose 0.5%, an isotonic lubricating tear substitute formulated to provide immediate and long-lasting relief from dry eye symptoms. The formulation mimics the properties of natural tears, helping to moisturize the ocular surface, reduce irritation, and protect the eyes from environmental factors such as wind and sun exposure.

Lubrex Eye Drops are indicated for the temporary relief of burning, irritation, and discomfort due to dryness of the eyes or exposure to wind or sun. They may also be used as a protectant against further ocular irritation.

Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose (CMC) is an isotonic lubricating polymer that closely resembles the characteristics of natural tears. It forms a protective, moisture-retaining film over the ocular surface, improving tear film stability and reducing friction during blinking. This provides immediate symptomatic relief while offering prolonged protection against dryness and ocular irritation.

Instill 1–2 drops into the affected eye(s) 2–4 times daily as needed, or as directed by the ophthalmologist. If Lubrex Eye Drops are used together with other ophthalmic medications, maintain an interval of at least 15 minutes between applications.

Lubrex Eye Drops are contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose or any component of the formulation.
