D-Panthenol is a precursor of pantothenic acid (Vitamin B5), which is converted into coenzyme A, an essential cofactor involved in numerous enzyme-catalyzed metabolic reactions. Coenzyme A plays an important role in cellular metabolism and tissue repair processes. In ophthalmic use, D-Panthenol helps maintain ocular surface hydration and supports the regeneration and protection of the corneal epithelium, providing prolonged lubrication and relief from dry eye symptoms.Apply a strip of gel approximately 1 cm long into the lower conjunctival sac of the affected eye four times daily during waking hours, or as directed by the ophthalmologist.
