It provides broad-spectrum bactericidal activity against a wide range of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, helping eliminate ocular infections and promote faster recovery.

Moxifloxacin is a fourth-generation fluoroquinolone antibiotic that exerts its antibacterial action by inhibiting DNA gyrase (topoisomerase II) and topoisomerase IV, two essential bacterial enzymes involved in DNA replication, transcription, repair, and chromosome segregation during cell division. Inhibition of these enzymes disrupts bacterial DNA synthesis, leading to rapid bactericidal activity against susceptible ocular pathogens responsible for bacterial conjunctivitis.

Instill one drop into the affected eye(s) three times daily for 7 days, or as directed by the physician.

Moxigram Eye Drops are contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Moxifloxacin, other quinolone antibiotics, or any component of the formulation.
