Moxigram KT Eye Drops combine Moxifloxacin, a broad-spectrum fluoroquinolone antibiotic, with Ketorolac Tromethamine, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), to help prevent bacterial infection and reduce postoperative ocular inflammation. The formulation provides effective control of pain, redness, and inflammation following ophthalmic surgery.

Moxigram KT Eye Drops are indicated for the reduction of post-operative inflammatory conditions of the eyes, particularly following cataract surgery.

Moxifloxacin is a broad-spectrum fluoroquinolone antibiotic that exerts its antibacterial effect by inhibiting DNA gyrase (topoisomerase II) and topoisomerase IV, enzymes essential for bacterial DNA replication, transcription, repair, and cell division. This leads to inhibition of bacterial growth and elimination of susceptible ocular pathogens. Ketorolac Tromethamine is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that inhibits the synthesis of prostaglandins by blocking cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes. In ophthalmic use, it reduces postoperative inflammation, ocular pain, and discomfort. Together, these agents provide antibacterial protection while controlling postoperative inflammation following ocular surgery.

Instill one drop into the affected eye four times daily, beginning 24 hours after cataract surgery and continuing through the first two weeks of the postoperative period, or as directed by the physician.

Moxigram KT Eye Drops are contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Moxifloxacin, Ketorolac Tromethamine, or any component of the formulation.
