Each capsule contains Omeprazole 20 mg.

Omicap Capsules contain Omeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that effectively suppresses gastric acid secretion by irreversibly inhibiting the gastric proton pump. It provides long-lasting relief from acid-related disorders and is indicated for the treatment of Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD), promoting symptom relief and esophageal healing.

Omicap Capsules are indicated for the treatment of Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD).

Omeprazole suppresses gastric acid secretion by irreversibly inhibiting the H⁺/K⁺-ATPase enzyme (proton pump) in gastric parietal cells. This results in sustained reduction of gastric acid production, promoting healing of acid-related disorders and relieving reflux symptoms.

The recommended dosage is one capsule once daily before meals or on an empty stomach, or as directed by the physician.

Omicap Capsules are contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Omeprazole or any component of the formulation. Use is also contraindicated in patients with known QT interval prolongation or other conditions where the formulation is not recommended.
