Each sustained-release capsule contains Pantoprazole 40 mg + Domperidone 30 mg SR.

Pantocar D Capsules combine Pantoprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI), with Domperidone, a prokinetic agent, to provide effective management of Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD). The dual-action formulation reduces gastric acid secretion while improving gastric motility and accelerating gastric emptying, making it beneficial for patients whose symptoms are not adequately controlled with Pantoprazole alone.

Pantocar D Capsules are indicated for the treatment of Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD) in patients who do not respond adequately to Pantoprazole alone.

Pantoprazole suppresses gastric acid secretion by selectively inhibiting the H⁺/K⁺-ATPase enzyme in the secretory canaliculi of gastric parietal cells. Domperidone acts as a competitive dopamine D2-receptor antagonist, enhancing gastrointestinal motility, promoting gastric emptying, and helping relieve symptoms associated with acid reflux.

The recommended dosage is one capsule once daily before meals, or as directed by the physician.

Pantocar D Capsules are contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Pantoprazole, Domperidone, or any component of the formulation.
