Pantotab D SR Capsules combine Pantoprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI), with Domperidone, a prokinetic agent, to provide effective management of Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD). The combination reduces gastric acid secretion while enhancing gastrointestinal motility and gastric emptying, offering comprehensive relief from acid reflux symptoms.

Pantotab D SR Capsules are indicated for the treatment of Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD).

Pantoprazole suppresses gastric acid secretion by selectively inhibiting the H⁺/K⁺-ATPase enzyme in the secretory canaliculi of gastric parietal cells. Domperidone acts as a competitive dopamine D2-receptor antagonist, enhancing gastrointestinal motility, promoting gastric emptying, and improving symptoms associated with gastroesophageal reflux.

The recommended dosage is one capsule once daily before meals, or as directed by the physician.

Pantotab D SR Capsules are contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Pantoprazole, Domperidone, or any component of the formulation.
