Each ml contains Prednisolone Acetate IP 1.0% w/v and Benzalkonium Chloride Solution IP 0.02% w/v (as preservative) in a sterile aqueous vehicle.

Predace Eye Drops contain Prednisolone Acetate 1%, a potent ophthalmic corticosteroid indicated for the treatment of steroid-responsive ocular inflammation involving the conjunctiva, cornea, and anterior segment of the eye. It effectively suppresses inflammatory responses, helping relieve redness, swelling, pain, and discomfort while supporting postoperative and inflammatory ocular care.

Predace Eye Drops are indicated for the treatment of steroid-responsive inflammation of the palpebral and bulbar conjunctiva, cornea, and anterior segment of the globe.

Prednisolone Acetate is a corticosteroid that binds to glucocorticoid receptors, suppressing the production of pro-inflammatory mediators while promoting anti-inflammatory pathways. This reduces inflammatory cell infiltration, capillary permeability, and tissue oedema. Prednisolone Acetate has a relatively short duration of action, with a half-life of approximately 2–3 hours, and provides effective control of ocular inflammation with an established therapeutic safety profile when used as directed.

Shake well before use. Instill one to two drops into the conjunctival sac two to four times daily. During the initial 24–48 hours, the dosing frequency may be increased if clinically required. Therapy should not be discontinued prematurely unless advised by the ophthalmologist.

Predace Eye Drops are contraindicated in patients with acute untreated purulent ocular infections, most viral diseases of the cornea and conjunctiva, or known hypersensitivity to Prednisolone Acetate, other corticosteroids, or any component of the formulation.
