Each enteric-coated tablet contains Rabeprazole Sodium 20 mg.

Rabiros Tablets contain Rabeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that provides rapid and sustained suppression of gastric acid secretion. It effectively promotes healing of acid-related disorders, including Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD), duodenal ulcers, and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, while providing long-lasting symptom relief.

Rabeprazole belongs to the class of substituted benzimidazole proton pump inhibitors (PPIs). It suppresses gastric acid secretion by irreversibly inhibiting the H⁺/K⁺-ATPase enzyme (proton pump) at the secretory surface of gastric parietal cells. It does not exhibit anticholinergic or histamine H₂-receptor antagonist activity, resulting in potent and prolonged acid suppression.

The recommended dosage is one tablet once daily before food, or as directed by the physician.

Rabiros Tablets are contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Rabeprazole, substituted benzimidazoles, or any component of the formulation.
