Olopatadine Hydrochloride is a selective histamine H1 receptor antagonist with mast cell stabilizing activity. It blocks the action of histamine by preventing its binding to H1 receptors and inhibits the release of inflammatory mediators from mast cells. In addition, Olopatadine reduces chemotaxis and inhibits eosinophil activation, thereby suppressing the allergic inflammatory response. This dual mechanism effectively relieves ocular itching, redness, and irritation associated with allergic conjunctivitis.

Instill one drop into the affected eye(s) twice daily, or as directed by the physician.

Rapidon OD Eye Drops are contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Olopatadine Hydrochloride or any component of the formulation.
