Each 5 mL of Salbid LS Syrup contains Levosalbutamol 1 mg, Ambroxol Hydrochloride 30 mg, and Guaiphenesin 50 mg.

Salbid LS Syrup is a triple-action respiratory formulation containing Levosalbutamol, Ambroxol Hydrochloride, and Guaiphenesin. It provides effective relief from bronchospasm while helping loosen and expel thick mucus from the respiratory tract. The combination acts as a bronchodilator, mucolytic, and expectorant, improving airway clearance, easing breathing, and reducing cough associated with excessive mucus production in respiratory conditions.

Salbid LS Syrup is indicated for the symptomatic relief of bronchospasm associated with bronchial asthma and chronic bronchitis. It helps relieve cough with mucus, chest congestion, wheezing, and breathing difficulty by improving mucus clearance and opening the airways.

Levosalbutamol is a selective short-acting β₂-adrenergic receptor agonist that relaxes bronchial smooth muscles, resulting in bronchodilation and improved airflow throughout the respiratory tract. Ambroxol Hydrochloride is a mucolytic agent that breaks down mucopolysaccharide fibers within bronchial secretions, reducing sputum viscosity and facilitating easier expectoration. Guaiphenesin is an expectorant that increases the volume and decreases the thickness of respiratory secretions, promoting effective mucus clearance and reducing chest congestion.

The recommended dosage is 2.5 mL twice daily for children aged 2–5 years, 5 mL twice daily for children aged 6–12 years, and 10 mL twice daily for adults, or as directed by the physician.

Salbid LS Syrup is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Levosalbutamol, Ambroxol Hydrochloride, Guaiphenesin, or any component of the formulation.
