Each ml contains Lifitegrast Ophthalmic Solution 5% w/v (50 mg/ml).

Secadrops Eye Drops contain Lifitegrast 5%, a lymphocyte function-associated antigen-1 (LFA-1) antagonist indicated for the treatment of the signs and symptoms of Dry Eye Disease (DED). It targets the underlying inflammatory pathway associated with dry eye disease, helping improve ocular surface health while providing relief from discomfort, irritation, and dryness.

Lifitegrast is a lymphocyte function-associated antigen-1 (LFA-1) antagonist. It binds to the LFA-1 receptor present on leukocytes and inhibits its interaction with intercellular adhesion molecule-1 (ICAM-1). Blocking the LFA-1/ICAM-1 interaction prevents the formation of the immunological synapse responsible for T-cell activation, migration, and inflammatory responses associated with Dry Eye Disease, thereby reducing ocular surface inflammation and improving symptoms.

Instill one drop into each eye twice daily, approximately 12 hours apart, using a single-dose container (UNIMS). Each container is for single use only and should be discarded immediately after administration.

Secadrops Eye Drops are contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Lifitegrast or any component of the formulation.
