Each film-coated tablet contains Teneligliptin 20 mg + Metformin Hydrochloride SR 500 mg/1000 mg.

Tenepride M Tablets combine Teneligliptin, a selective DPP-4 inhibitor, with Sustained-Release Metformin, a biguanide antihyperglycaemic agent, to provide effective glycaemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Teneligliptin enhances glucose-dependent insulin secretion by increasing incretin hormone activity, while Metformin reduces hepatic glucose production, decreases intestinal glucose absorption, and improves peripheral insulin sensitivity. The sustained-release formulation of Metformin provides improved gastrointestinal tolerability and convenient once-daily dosing.

Tenepride M Tablets are indicated as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycaemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus.

Teneligliptin is a DPP-4 inhibitor that slows the degradation of incretin hormones, thereby increasing glucose-dependent insulin secretion and reducing glucagon secretion. Metformin is a biguanide antihyperglycaemic agent that lowers blood glucose by decreasing hepatic glucose production, reducing intestinal glucose absorption, and improving peripheral insulin sensitivity through enhanced glucose uptake and utilization. Together, these complementary mechanisms improve both fasting and postprandial glycaemic control.

The recommended dosage is one tablet orally once daily, or as directed by the physician.

Tenepride M Tablets are contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Teneligliptin, Metformin, or any component of the formulation, severe ketosis, diabetic coma or history of diabetic coma, type 1 diabetes mellitus, and renal impairment.
