Each film-coated tablet contains Teneligliptin 20 mg.

Tenepride Tablets contain Teneligliptin, a selective Dipeptidyl Peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitor indicated for the management of type 2 diabetes mellitus. By prolonging the activity of endogenous incretin hormones, Teneligliptin enhances glucose-dependent insulin secretion and suppresses glucagon release, resulting in improved glycaemic control with a low risk of hypoglycaemia when used as monotherapy. It can be used alone or in combination with other antidiabetic agents as part of a comprehensive diabetes management plan.

Tenepride Tablets are indicated as monotherapy or as an adjunct to diet and exercise for the treatment of adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus.

Teneligliptin is a DPP-4 inhibitor that slows the degradation of incretin hormones, including glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) and glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP). By increasing and prolonging the activity of these hormones, Teneligliptin enhances glucose-dependent insulin secretion, suppresses glucagon secretion, and improves both fasting and postprandial blood glucose control.

The recommended adult dosage is 20 mg orally once daily. If adequate glycaemic control is not achieved, the dose may be increased to 40 mg once daily under close clinical supervision or as directed by the physician.

Tenepride Tablets are contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Teneligliptin or any component of the formulation, severe ketosis, diabetic coma or history of diabetic coma, and type 1 diabetes mellitus.
