Each orodispersible tablet contains Ketorolac Tromethamine 10 mg.

Torolac DT is an orodispersible formulation of Ketorolac Tromethamine, a potent nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) indicated for the short-term management of moderate to severe acute pain. The fast-dissolving tablet offers rapid onset of analgesic action, making it particularly suitable for the management of postoperative and musculoskeletal pain where prompt pain relief is required.

Torolac DT is indicated for the short-term management of postoperative pain and musculoskeletal pain in adults. It is intended for acute pain management requiring analgesic efficacy comparable to opioid therapy but without opioid-related dependence.

Ketorolac Tromethamine exerts its analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and antipyretic effects by inhibiting cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes, thereby suppressing prostaglandin synthesis. The reduction in prostaglandin production decreases inflammation, pain sensitization, and fever, providing effective short-term pain relief.

The usual recommended dose is 10 mg every 4 to 6 hours, with a maximum daily dose of 40 mg. The total duration of therapy should not exceed 5 days, or as directed by the treating physician.

Torolac DT is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Ketorolac or other NSAIDs, active peptic ulcer disease, recent gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation, advanced renal impairment, or in patients at risk of renal failure due to volume depletion. It is also contraindicated in patients with suspected or confirmed cerebrovascular bleeding, hemorrhagic diathesis, incomplete hemostasis, and those at high risk of bleeding.
