Each ml contains Brinzolamide IP 10 mg, Brimonidine Tartrate IP 2 mg, Timolol Maleate IP equivalent to Timolol 5 mg, and Benzalkonium Chloride IP 0.2 mg (as preservative).

Trisopt Ophthalmic Suspension is a triple-combination anti-glaucoma formulation containing Brinzolamide, Brimonidine Tartrate, and Timolol. The three complementary mechanisms of action effectively reduce elevated intraocular pressure (IOP) by decreasing aqueous humour production and enhancing aqueous humour outflow. It is intended for patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension who require additional IOP reduction despite dual-drug therapy.

Trisopt Ophthalmic Suspension is indicated for the reduction of elevated intraocular pressure in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension who are inadequately controlled with dual-drug therapy.

Trisopt combines three complementary agents that lower intraocular pressure through different mechanisms. Brinzolamide is a carbonic anhydrase II inhibitor that reduces bicarbonate ion formation in the ciliary epithelium, thereby decreasing sodium and fluid transport and reducing aqueous humour production. Brimonidine Tartrate is a selective alpha-2 adrenergic receptor agonist that lowers intraocular pressure by reducing aqueous humour production while increasing uveoscleral outflow. Timolol Maleate is a non-selective beta-adrenergic receptor blocker that decreases aqueous humour formation by the ciliary body. The combined action of these agents provides enhanced intraocular pressure control in glaucoma and ocular hypertension.

Instill one drop into the affected eye(s) twice daily, or as directed by the physician.

Trisopt Ophthalmic Suspension is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Brinzolamide, Brimonidine Tartrate, Timolol, sulphonamides, or any component of the formulation. It is also contraindicated in patients receiving monoamine oxidase (MAO) inhibitors, certain antidepressants, patients with severe renal impairment, hyperchloraemic acidosis, bronchial asthma, or sinus bradycardia.
