UDOSIS Tablets are contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to sodium bicarbonate or any of the formulation components. The product should not be used in patients with metabolic or respiratory alkalosis, hypocalcaemia, excessive chloride loss resulting from vomiting or gastrointestinal suctioning, hypercarbic acidosis, or unexplained abdominal pain. Caution is advised in patients who are at risk of diuretic-induced hypochloremic alkalosis.
