Each 5 mL of syrup contains Ambroxol Hydrochloride 15 mg, Levosalbutamol 0.5 mg, and Guaiphenesin 50 mg.

It works by dilating the airways, breaking down thick mucus, and promoting the removal of respiratory secretions. The combination helps improve breathing, reduce chest congestion, and facilitate easier expectoration in respiratory conditions associated with excessive mucus production.

Ventryl LS Syrup is indicated for the symptomatic relief of bronchospasm associated with bronchial asthma and chronic bronchitis. It helps relieve productive cough, wheezing, chest congestion, and breathing difficulty by improving airway patency and enhancing mucus clearance.

Levosalbutamol is a selective short-acting β₂-adrenergic receptor agonist that relaxes the smooth muscles of the airways, producing bronchodilation and improving airflow from the trachea to the terminal bronchioles. Ambroxol Hydrochloride is a mucolytic agent that breaks down mucopolysaccharide fibers within bronchial secretions, reducing sputum viscosity and making mucus easier to expel. Guaiphenesin is an expectorant that increases the volume and decreases the thickness of respiratory secretions, facilitating productive coughing and improving mucus clearance.

The recommended dosage is 5 mL twice daily for children aged 6–12 years and 2.5 mL twice daily for children aged 2–6 years, or as directed by the physician.

Ventryl LS Syrup is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Levosalbutamol, Ambroxol Hydrochloride, Guaiphenesin, or any other component of the formulation.
