Voglinorm Tablets contain Voglibose 0.2 mg/0.3 mg. Voglibose is an alpha-glucosidase inhibitor that delays carbohydrate digestion and absorption, helping to control postprandial blood glucose levels in patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus.

Voglinorm Tablets contain Voglibose, an alpha-glucosidase inhibitor that effectively reduces postprandial hyperglycaemia by delaying the digestion and absorption of dietary carbohydrates in the small intestine. It provides targeted control of post-meal blood glucose excursions without stimulating insulin secretion and can be used alone or in combination with other oral antidiabetic agents or insulin when additional glycaemic control is required.

Voglinorm Tablets are indicated for the improvement of postprandial hyperglycaemia in patients with Diabetes Mellitus when diet and exercise alone, or oral hypoglycaemic agents or insulin in combination with diet and exercise, fail to achieve adequate glycaemic control.

Voglibose is an alpha-glucosidase inhibitor that inhibits alpha-glucosidase enzymes located in the intestinal brush border, thereby delaying the digestion and absorption of starch, dextrin, and disaccharides. This slows glucose absorption following meals and reduces postprandial blood glucose elevations, contributing to improved overall glycaemic control.

The recommended dose is 0.2 mg three times daily before each meal. If adequate glycaemic control is not achieved, the dose may be increased to 0.3 mg three times daily, or as directed by the treating physician.

Voglinorm Tablets are contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Voglibose or any component of the formulation. They are also contraindicated in patients with acute or chronic metabolic acidosis, including diabetic ketoacidosis with or without coma.
