Zucapride 10 mg Tablets contain Dapagliflozin 10 mg. Dapagliflozin is a selective sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitor indicated for improving glycaemic control in adults with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus.

Zucapride 10 mg Tablets contain Dapagliflozin, a selective SGLT2 inhibitor that lowers blood glucose by reducing renal glucose reabsorption and promoting urinary glucose excretion. Its insulin-independent mechanism of action provides effective glycaemic control, supports weight reduction, and offers a low risk of hypoglycaemia when used as monotherapy. The once-daily oral formulation can be administered with or without food, improving treatment convenience and patient adherence.

Zucapride 10 mg Tablets are indicated for the treatment of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus in adults aged 18 years and older to improve glycaemic control. They may be used as monotherapy when diet and exercise alone do not provide adequate glycaemic control and Metformin is inappropriate due to intolerance, or as add-on combination therapy with other glucose-lowering medications, including insulin, when additional glycaemic control is required.

Dapagliflozin is a selective sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitor that acts in the proximal renal tubules by blocking glucose reabsorption. This lowers the renal threshold for glucose and increases urinary glucose excretion, resulting in reduced plasma glucose levels. Zucapride 10 mg Tablets are contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Dapagliflozin or any component of the formulation. They are also contraindicated in patients with severe renal impairment (eGFR less than 30 mL/min/1.73 m²), end-stage renal disease (ESRD), or patients undergoing dialysis.
