Amlozaar-H Tablets contain Losartan Potassium 50 mg, Amlodipine 5 mg, and Hydrochlorothiazide 12.5 mg.

Amlozaar-H Tablets combine the complementary antihypertensive actions of Losartan Potassium, Amlodipine, and Hydrochlorothiazide in a single formulation to provide effective blood pressure control in patients inadequately controlled on dual therapy. Losartan blocks the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system, Amlodipine produces peripheral vasodilation by inhibiting calcium influx into vascular smooth muscle, and Hydrochlorothiazide promotes sodium and water excretion through its diuretic action. This triple combination offers sustained blood pressure reduction with convenient once-daily dosing.

Amlozaar-H Tablets are indicated for the treatment of hypertension in patients who are not adequately controlled with dual-drug therapy.

Losartan Potassium is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that selectively blocks the AT1 receptor, preventing the vasoconstrictor and aldosterone-secreting effects of angiotensin II, thereby lowering blood pressure. Amlodipine is a dihydropyridine calcium channel blocker that inhibits the transmembrane influx of calcium ions into vascular smooth muscle and cardiac muscle, producing peripheral arterial vasodilation and reducing peripheral vascular resistance. Hydrochlorothiazide is a thiazide diuretic that acts on the distal renal tubules to inhibit electrolyte reabsorption, increasing sodium and water excretion and contributing to blood pressure reduction.

The recommended dosage is one tablet orally once daily in the morning, or as directed by the physician.

Amlozaar-H Tablets are contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Losartan Potassium, Amlodipine, Hydrochlorothiazide, or any component of the formulation. The product should be avoided during pregnancy and is contraindicated in patients with diabetes receiving concomitant aliskiren therapy.
