Angizaar Tablets contain Losartan Potassium 25 mg or 50 mg.

Angizaar Tablets contain Losartan Potassium, a selective angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB), which provides effective once-daily blood pressure control by blocking the vasoconstrictor and aldosterone-secreting effects of angiotensin II. By reducing peripheral vascular resistance without affecting heart rate, Angizaar helps manage hypertension and lowers the risk of cardiovascular complications associated with elevated blood pressure.

Angizaar Tablets are indicated for the treatment of mild to moderate hypertension.

Losartan Potassium is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that selectively blocks the binding of angiotensin II to the AT1 receptor, thereby inhibiting its vasoconstrictor and aldosterone-secreting effects. This results in vasodilation, reduced sodium and water retention, decreased peripheral vascular resistance, and effective lowering of blood pressure.

The recommended dosage is one tablet orally once daily, or as directed by the physician.

Angizaar Tablets are contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Losartan Potassium or any component of the formulation. The product should be avoided during pregnancy and is contraindicated in patients with diabetes receiving concomitant aliskiren therapy.
