Arbitel H Tablets contain Telmisartan 40 mg/80 mg and Hydrochlorothiazide 12.5 mg.

Arbitel H Tablets combine the antihypertensive action of Telmisartan with the diuretic effect of Hydrochlorothiazide to provide effective blood pressure control. Telmisartan selectively blocks angiotensin II at the AT1 receptor, thereby reducing vasoconstriction and aldosterone secretion, while Hydrochlorothiazide promotes sodium and water excretion by inhibiting electrolyte reabsorption in the distal renal tubules. This dual mechanism offers sustained blood pressure reduction and is suitable as second-line therapy for patients whose hypertension is not adequately controlled with monotherapy.

Arbitel H Tablets are indicated for the treatment of hypertension as second-line therapy.

Telmisartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that selectively inhibits the binding of angiotensin II to the AT1 receptor, preventing vasoconstriction and aldosterone secretion, thereby lowering blood pressure. Hydrochlorothiazide is a thiazide diuretic that acts on the distal renal tubules to inhibit sodium and chloride reabsorption, increasing urinary excretion of sodium, chloride, and water. This reduces plasma volume and contributes to effective blood pressure control.

The usual starting dose is Telmisartan 40 mg + Hydrochlorothiazide 12.5 mg orally once daily in the morning, or as directed by the physician.

Arbitel H Tablets are contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Telmisartan, Hydrochlorothiazide, or any component of the formulation.
