Bisolong Tablets are indicated for the treatment of hypertension, coronary heart disease (angina pectoris), and congestive heart failure (CHF).

Bisoprolol is a synthetic, highly selective beta1-adrenergic receptor blocker that reduces myocardial oxygen consumption by decreasing heart rate and myocardial contractility. It also blocks beta1 receptors present in the juxtaglomerular cells of the kidneys, leading to reduced renin release and suppression of the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system.
