Each modified-release tablet contains Trimetazidine 35 mg.

Metabolic anti-anginal formulation designed to improve myocardial energy metabolism during ischemia. Helps optimize cardiac cellular energy utilization without significantly affecting hemodynamic parameters.

Indicated for ischemic heart disease, angina pectoris, and sequelae of myocardial infarction.

Trimetazidine inhibits beta-oxidation of fatty acids by blocking long-chain 3-ketoacyl-CoA thiolase, thereby enhancing glucose oxidation. During ischemia, glucose oxidation requires less oxygen consumption compared to fatty acid oxidation, leading to optimized cellular energy production and preservation of myocardial metabolic function.

One tablet twice daily during meals or as directed by the physician.

Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to trimetazidine or any component of the formulation. Contraindicated in Parkinson’s disease, parkinsonian symptoms, tremors, restless leg syndrome, related movement disorders, and severe renal impairment (creatinine clearance below 30 mL/min).
