Each sustained-release tablet contains Trimetazidine 60 mg.

Once-daily metabolic anti-anginal formulation designed to improve myocardial energy metabolism during ischemia. Helps optimize cardiac cellular energy utilization without significant hemodynamic effects.

Indicated for ischemic heart disease, angina pectoris, and sequelae of myocardial infarction.

Trimetazidine inhibits beta-oxidation of fatty acids by blocking long-chain 3-ketoacyl-CoA thiolase, thereby enhancing glucose oxidation. During ischemia, glucose oxidation requires less oxygen consumption than fatty acid oxidation, leading to improved myocardial energy efficiency and preservation of cellular metabolic function.

One tablet once daily or as directed by the physician.

Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to trimetazidine or any component of the formulation. Also contraindicated in Parkinson’s disease, parkinsonian symptoms, tremors, restless leg syndrome, related movement disorders, and severe renal impairment (creatinine clearance below 30 mL/min).
