Each film-coated bilayered tablet contains Telmisartan 40 mg, Chlorthalidone 12.5 mg, and Metoprolol Succinate Extended Release equivalent to Metoprolol Tartrate 25 mg/50 mg.

Metoprolol Succinate is a beta1-selective adrenergic receptor blocker that lowers blood pressure by reducing heart rate, myocardial contractility, cardiac output, and myocardial oxygen demand. Chlorthalidone is a long-acting thiazide-like diuretic that inhibits sodium and chloride reabsorption in the distal convoluted tubules through inhibition of the Na+/Cl− symporter, promoting natriuresis and diuresis, resulting in reduced plasma volume and sustained blood pressure reduction.

The recommended dosage is one tablet orally once daily, preferably with breakfast. The tablet should be swallowed whole with water and should not be chewed, crushed, or broken. Dosage should be individualized according to the patient's clinical response and physician's recommendation.

Metapro 3D Tablets are contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Telmisartan, Metoprolol, Chlorthalidone, other sulfonamide-derived drugs, or any component of the formulation. The product is also contraindicated in patients with severe bradycardia, second- or third-degree atrioventricular block, cardiogenic shock, decompensated cardiac failure, sick sinus syndrome unless a permanent pacemaker is present, and other conditions where beta-blockade is contraindicated.
