Cilnidipine is a dihydropyridine calcium channel blocker that inhibits calcium influx into vascular smooth muscle cells, producing vasodilation and reducing peripheral vascular resistance. It also blocks N-type calcium channels, decreasing sympathetic nervous system activity. Olmesartan is a selective angiotensin II type 1 (AT1) receptor antagonist that blocks the vasoconstrictor effects of angiotensin II, resulting in relaxation of blood vessels and lowering of blood pressure. Chlorthalidone is a long-acting thiazide-related diuretic that acts primarily on the distal renal tubule by inhibiting sodium and chloride reabsorption, thereby increasing urinary excretion of sodium and water and reducing plasma volume. Together, these complementary mechanisms provide sustained and effective antihypertensive action.

The recommended dosage is one tablet once daily in the morning, or as directed by the treating physician.

Nulong Trio Tablets are contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Cilnidipine, Olmesartan, Chlorthalidone, or any component of the formulation, as well as in patients with aortic stenosis or anuria.
