Each tablet contains Olmesartan 20 mg or 40 mg + Amlodipine 5 mg + Hydrochlorothiazide 12.5 mg.

Olmat AMH Tablets combine three complementary antihypertensive agents—Olmesartan, Amlodipine, and Hydrochlorothiazide—to provide comprehensive blood pressure control in patients with essential hypertension. Olmesartan blocks the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system by selectively inhibiting AT1 receptors, Amlodipine produces sustained vasodilation through calcium channel blockade, and Hydrochlorothiazide promotes sodium and water excretion by inhibiting electrolyte reabsorption in the distal renal tubules. This once-daily triple therapy offers effective blood pressure reduction and supports long-term cardiovascular protection in patients requiring multiple antihypertensive agents.

Olmat AMH Tablets are indicated for the treatment of essential hypertension, particularly in patients requiring triple-drug therapy to achieve adequate blood pressure control.

Olmesartan is a selective angiotensin II receptor antagonist that blocks the vasoconstrictor effects of angiotensin II by selectively binding to AT1 receptors in vascular smooth muscle, thereby reducing peripheral vascular resistance and blood pressure. Amlodipine is a dihydropyridine calcium channel blocker that inhibits calcium influx into cardiac and vascular smooth muscle cells, producing direct vasodilation and sustained reduction in peripheral vascular resistance. Hydrochlorothiazide is a thiazide diuretic that inhibits the reabsorption of sodium and chloride ions in the distal renal tubules, increasing urinary excretion of sodium and water, reducing plasma volume, and contributing to antihypertensive activity. Together, these complementary mechanisms provide effective and sustained blood pressure control.

The recommended dosage is one tablet once daily. If additional blood pressure reduction is required, the dosage may be increased after 2 weeks to a maximum strength of Olmesartan 40 mg + Amlodipine 10 mg + Hydrochlorothiazide 25 mg once daily, usually by increasing one component at a time, as directed by the physician.

Olmat AMH Tablets are contraindicated in patients with anuria and in those with known hypersensitivity to Olmesartan, Amlodipine, Hydrochlorothiazide, or any component of the formulation.
