Each tablet contains Telmisartan IP 40 mg + Cilnidipine 10 mg + Chlorthalidone IP 6.25 mg.

Telplus Trio Tablets combine Telmisartan, Cilnidipine, and Chlorthalidone to provide triple-mechanism blood pressure control for patients with uncontrolled hypertension. Telmisartan blocks the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system, Cilnidipine produces sustained vasodilation through calcium channel blockade, and Chlorthalidone provides long-acting diuretic action by promoting sodium and water excretion. This synergistic combination offers effective once-daily blood pressure control, improved cardiovascular protection, and enhanced management in patients inadequately controlled with dual antihypertensive therapy.

Telplus Trio Tablets are indicated for the treatment of uncontrolled hypertension in patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled with two antihypertensive drugs.

Telmisartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that selectively blocks the binding of angiotensin II to AT1 receptors in vascular smooth muscle and the adrenal gland, thereby inhibiting vasoconstriction and aldosterone secretion. It has a significantly greater affinity for AT1 receptors than AT2 receptors, resulting in effective blood pressure reduction. Cilnidipine is a dihydropyridine calcium channel blocker that inhibits calcium influx into vascular smooth muscle cells, producing vasodilation with greater selectivity for peripheral blood vessels. Chlorthalidone is a long-acting thiazide-related diuretic that acts on the distal renal tubule by inhibiting sodium and chloride reabsorption while promoting calcium reabsorption, leading to increased urinary excretion of sodium and water and further lowering blood pressure.

The recommended dosage is one tablet orally once daily, or as directed by the treating physician.

Telplus Trio Tablets are contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity (including anaphylaxis or angioedema) to telmisartan, cilnidipine, chlorthalidone, or any component of the formulation. It is also contraindicated in patients with cardiogenic shock, recent myocardial infarction or acute unstable angina, severe aortic stenosis, and anuria.
