Each 2 mL vial contains Torsemide 10 mg/mL.

Torsinex Injection contains Torsemide, a potent loop diuretic indicated for the management of fluid overload and hypertension. It promotes rapid elimination of excess sodium and water, helping relieve edema associated with heart failure and other fluid retention disorders. Its injectable formulation provides effective diuretic therapy when oral administration is not feasible or when a prompt therapeutic response is required.

Torsinex Injection is indicated as a diuretic for the management of edema associated with heart failure and hypertension, as recommended by the treating physician.

Torsemide is a loop diuretic that acts within the thick ascending limb of the loop of Henle, where it inhibits the Na⁺/K⁺/2Cl⁻ cotransporter. This inhibition reduces the reabsorption of sodium and chloride, resulting in increased urinary excretion of sodium, chloride, and water. The reduction in extracellular fluid volume helps relieve edema and contributes to blood pressure reduction.

For edema associated with heart failure, the recommended initial dose is 10 mg or 20 mg once daily. For hypertension, the recommended initial dose is 5 mg once daily. If required, the dose may be increased to 10 mg once daily after 4–6 weeks, or as directed by the physician.

Torsinex Injection is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Torsemide or any component of the formulation. It is also contraindicated in patients with anuria and hepatic coma.
