Turbovas Gold Capsules combine Rosuvastatin, Clopidogrel, and Aspirin to provide comprehensive cardiovascular protection in patients at high risk of recurrent thrombotic events. Rosuvastatin lowers LDL cholesterol and stabilizes atherosclerotic plaques, while Clopidogrel and Aspirin work through complementary antiplatelet mechanisms to inhibit platelet activation and aggregation. This triple-action therapy is designed for the secondary prevention of acute coronary syndrome and ischemic stroke as part of an overall cardiovascular risk reduction strategy.

Turbovas Gold Capsules are indicated for the secondary prevention of acute coronary syndrome (ACS) and ischemic stroke.

Rosuvastatin is a selective and competitive inhibitor of 3-hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl coenzyme A (HMG-CoA) reductase, the rate-limiting enzyme in cholesterol biosynthesis. By reducing hepatic cholesterol synthesis, it increases hepatic LDL receptor expression and enhances the clearance of circulating low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol, thereby lowering LDL cholesterol and reducing cardiovascular risk. Clopidogrel is an antiplatelet agent that is metabolized to an active metabolite which irreversibly binds to the platelet P2Y12 adenosine diphosphate (ADP) receptor, inhibiting ADP-mediated platelet activation and preventing activation of the glycoprotein GPIIb/IIIa complex, thereby reducing platelet aggregation. Aspirin irreversibly inhibits cyclooxygenase-1 (COX-1) in platelets through acetylation, suppressing the synthesis of thromboxane A₂, a potent mediator of platelet activation and aggregation. Together, Clopidogrel and Aspirin provide dual antiplatelet therapy, helping to reduce the risk of recurrent cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events.

The recommended dose is one capsule once daily, taken orally after food, or as directed by the physician.

Turbovas Gold Capsules are contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Rosuvastatin, Clopidogrel, Aspirin, or any component of the formulation. They are also contraindicated in patients with active pathological bleeding or bleeding tendencies, active liver disease, and in pregnant or breastfeeding women.
